Mental health support works best when there’s a clear path for those who need help. From deeper mental health sessions to a stronger referral experience, September’s updates are designed to help your people get more out of the support already available to them.

Let’s explore what’s new!

More time for the conversations that matter

*Available only in our Employee Assistance Program and Mental Health+ program.

To help members make more meaningful progress in their journey, we’ve extended follow-up sessions for all services to 1 hour. This gives members and their practitioners more time to explore complex issues, set goals with more intention, or focus on outcomes rather than the clock.

A stronger Workplace Referral Program, built on your feedback

*Available only in our Employee Assistance Program.

When a leader notices that an employee is struggling, guiding them to support can make all the difference. The Workplace Referral Program gives managers and HR leaders a direct, supported pathway to connect employees with professional mental health and substance use support, and this month, we’ve made the experience even better.

This update brings improvements across the full referral journey:

  • A streamlined care pathway to make it easy from referral to the first appointment, for both managers and employees
  • More detailed updates on attendance, progress and participation, while employee privacy remains fully protected
  • Enhanced clinical support with combined care approaches and updated clinical protocols to ensure participants receive the highest standard of care
  • New consent and reporting templates for a cleaner, more consistent administrative experience

Clearer video connections

A seamless video call experience is the foundation of great virtual care. We’ve made behind-the-scenes improvements to our video infrastructure that are already making a meaningful difference. We’ve decreased failed call attempts by 50%, resulting in 30 fewer video-related rescheduled appointments every week.

This improvement helps members spend less time troubleshooting technology and more time accessing care on schedule.

A simpler way for members to get started

Every extra step between a member and care is a reason to disengage.
Soon, members will be able to sign up using just their phone number, verified by a quick SMS code – no additional credentials required.

One less barrier between your people and the care they need.
