The moments that matter most in a member’s care journey aren’t always the clinical ones – they’re the first impression at registration, the hesitation before asking for help, and the uncertainty of returning to work. This month’s updates are built around those moments.

Starting your mental health journey with support
*Available only in our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Mental Health+ program.
Reaching out for mental health support takes courage. When members feel ready enough to take that step, they deserve a care experience that offers them reassurance, not friction. This month, we’ve introduced several improvements to make that first step feel safer and more supported:
-
Empathetic in-assessment encouragement: At key moments in the mental health assessment, members now see gentle reminders that it’s okay not to have all the answers, and that what they share stays private.
-
Clearer expectations up-front: We now explain the “why” behind questions in the mental health assessment, so members understand what we’re measuring and how it helps shape their care.
-
A more natural question order: We’ve reorganized the assessment to build members up as they progress, so they feel more settled when they’re asked to share their reason for seeking care.
Together, these changes work toward the same goal: Making it as easy and comfortable as possible for members to start their mental health journey with Dialogue so they’re more likely to continue it.
New resources for employees returning from leave
*Available only in our Wellness program.

Returning to work after a leave of absence can be an emotionally complex transition for a member to navigate, and their leader’s response in those early days matters enormously. To support both sides of the experience, we’ve added two new resources to our content library: One for employees returning from leave, and one for the leaders welcoming them back.
These self-serve guides are part of our ongoing commitment to expanding the Wellness program’s library of practical, actionable content so members can access expert guidance directly within Dialogue on their own terms and at their own pace.
This is what whole-person health support looks like in practice: not just clinical care, but the everyday guidance that helps people feel confident and cared for at work.
Coming soon
*Available only in our Primary Care program.

Connecting members with nurses faster
For many everyday health concerns, a registered nurse is a great care provider – knowledgeable, thorough, and ready to help. We’re making it easier for members to connect with our nursing team.
Soon, when a member’s next step is a consultation with one of our registered nurses, they’ll be able to book an appointment directly – rather than waiting in a queue for the next available time. This gives members more certainty on their next step and the flexibility to choose a time that works best for them.
A smoother start with registration improvements
A member’s very first impression of Dialogue happens before they ever access care – it happens at registration. We’re raising the bar on our registration experience with several improvements designed to make sign-up faster and more flexible:
-
A technical support icon is available directly within the registration process, so members have more options to get help in the moment if they run into issues.
-
Over-the-phone registration for members who prefer or require an assisted option
-
One-time passwords for email verification, streamlining the confirmation process
Together, these changes mean more members successfully complete the registration process and can experience care faster.
