Diversity and inclusion at Dialogue

Dialogue reflects the beautifully diverse community we live in.

By the end of 2026, we aim to increase diversity in leadership roles by 50%, so that our actions and decisions better represent the communities we serve.

Our focus

Care

We commit to acknowledging and deepening our understanding of the healthcare
barriers faced by racialized and marginalized patients, in order to provide the
best quality care to all members.

Product

We challenge ourselves to increase the accessibility and inclusivity of our platform
to allow our members, clients, partners, and care team members to present
themselves as they are.

Community

Our clients, partners, and members feel confident knowing that we reflect their
values. We prioritize diversity because we know it makes us stronger, and makes
others proud to align with us.

Through initiatives that increase diversity representation and inclusion, we ensure
that every candidate and employee feels seen, heard, and valued.

Inclusive workplace with accessible spaces and diverse teams.

How we support organizations

Organizations can confidently choose Dialogue, knowing that our programs are tailored to meet each employee’s unique needs and deliver the appropriate level of care, resulting in better health outcomes.

Our Integrated Health Platform™ is designed to empower members to express their authentic selves. By creating an environment where they feel comfortable, members are encouraged to proactively seek support from our care team – before issues become overwhelming.

This fosters trust in your organization and creates a culture of well-being, all while helping you reduce health-related costs.

Answering your FAQs

How do you train your practitioners to make sure marginalized people feel comfortable consulting on the platform?

Dialogue empowers care team members with anti-oppression training, fostering critical allyship, and dismantling healthcare inequities. Our trans-affirmative guide equips teams to compassionately care for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals.

How do you ensure the diversity of service providers within your care team?

Dialogue prioritizes inclusive hiring practices by offering unconscious bias and interview training to all hiring managers and interviewers. This ensures that our care team members not only reflect the communities we serve, but also deliver the highest quality care.

How do you match counsellors to a member’s individual needs, including children and culturally diverse members, such as members of the LGBTQ2+, BIPOC, and Indigenous communities?

Before each consultation, members are asked to submit an intake form that allows our care practitioners to provide the right level and type of support. While practitioner selection based on background or identity is currently unavailable, all Dialogue care team members are committed to delivering inclusive, high-quality care.

Does Dialogue have a D&I task force or steering committee?

Dialogue has a Diversity and Inclusion council that has set an audacious goal for itself: ensure that Dialogue reflects the beautifully diverse community we live in, by focusing on 4 key pillars: culture, care, product, and community.
