This month, we’re highlighting three impactful features that help employees engage with mental health support in flexible, personal, and empowering ways. From self-paced resources to mindful moments, these tools are designed to meet employees wherever they are on their journey.
Let’s dive in!
Pause and resume the mental health intake
*Available only in our Employee Assistance Program and Mental Health+ programs.
Sometimes, members may not be ready to schedule a call with a care provider, and that’s completely understandable. To give members more control over their care, we’ve added a pause and resume feature to the mental health intake. This allows members to delay the intake process and return to it when they feel ready.
Since launching this feature, 40% of members have chosen to pause and resume to better accommodate life’s busy interruptions. More people are receiving care on their terms, without pressure.
Self-care toolkits for life’s challenging moments
*Available only for Wellness and Wellness Essentials programs.
Our interactive self-care toolkits offer structured, evidence-based support for common mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions such as loss and separation.
These toolkits are designed to be self-guided and accessible at any time, providing members with practical tools they can use independently, whether they’re not ready to speak to a provider or are looking for additional support between sessions.
Mind workouts for everyday well-being
*Available only for Wellness and Wellness Essentials programs.
Our Mind workouts feature short meditations and mindfulness exercises to help employees reset, focus, and reduce stress throughout the day.
These bite-sized sessions are an easy way for members to build emotional resilience and incorporate mental well-being into their daily routines, supporting both personal health and workplace productivity.

Easier photo uploads for faster assessments
In nearly 20% of care journeys, members are asked to upload a photo to assist with accurate assessment and treatment by a care provider. However, unclear or invalid images can lead to failed uploads and delayed care.
We’re improving the process by:
-
Adding a confirmation screen so that members can preview their photo
-
Providing the option to replace the photo before submitting
-
Using AI to identify issues with the photo quality in real time
These changes will make it easier to submit clear, helpful photos, leading to faster assessments and access to care.
