In the third edition, HR leaders learned that Canadians sense of purpose is taking a hit, leading to a decline in overall well-being.

 

Dialogue analyzed Well-Being Scores from over 13,000 Canadians and found:

  • Overall Well-Being Score remains low and continues to decline.  

  • 20 to 29-year-olds continue to have the lowest Well-Being Score.

  • A lack of purpose may be negatively impacting other areas of well-being.

Dialogue analyzed the Well-Being Scores of 12,000 Canadians and found:

  • 20-29-year-olds continue to struggle with sleep, physical activity, and their well-being.

  • 78% of members adopt a Healthy Habit after taking the Well-Being Score.

In the first edition, HR leaders learned that early-career employees may be more likely to experience psychological distress as they transition from familiar social supports to new challenges joining the workforce, affecting their overall well-being.

 

Dialogue analyzed the Well-Being Scores of 6,400 Canadians and found:

  • Overall well-being ranks poorly.

  • 20-29-year-olds had the lowest Well-Being Score.

  • Sleep and activeness are the areas needing attention for most members.

Organizations can support their workforce, particularly younger employees, with fast and easy access to mental health support.

This 1-minute assessment asks respondents to rank their well-being over the 2 previous weeks across 5 dimensions:

  • Sleep
  • Stress
  • Mood
  • Physical activity
  • Sense of purpose

Responses are calculated into an overall Well-Being Score that matches employees with personalized in-app support and employers to get proactive about risk factors in their organization.
