This month, we streamlined the prescription process and made a big announcement about women’s and family health.

Faster prescription support
*Available only in our Mental Health+ and Primary Care programs.
We’ve introduced a major upgrade to how prescriptions are processed, resulting in a smoother, faster experience for members.
Previously, members who were prescribed medications would have to wait as our care team manually sent their prescriptions to their pharmacy. This occasionally led to delays, especially during peak periods.
Thanks to a new automated process, prescriptions are validated and sent directly to the member’s preferred pharmacy within minutes of their consultation ending.
Now, 75% of prescriptions are handled automatically. Members will finish their call with their provider, and within minutes, receive a notification that their prescription has been sent to their preferred pharmacy. It’s a seamless experience that gets them on the path to feeling better, faster.
This update is also a win for our care team, who can now spend more time supporting members and less time on administrative tasks, advancing our mission to deliver high-quality, human-centred care.

This month, we hosted a virtual event titled The cost of neglecting women's health, bringing our community together to discuss the gender health gap and its significant consequences for both women and organizations.
During the event, we heard personal stories from women about their health challenges and unveiled our new Women's and Family Health service. As an add-on to our Primary Care program, this service offers comprehensive, whole-person care designed to support women and their families at every stage of their health journey. From menstrual health to menopause and everything in between, we are committed to expanding access to evidence-based, empathetic care.
