MONTREAL, Quebec – April 17, 2018 – Cherif Habib, Co-Founder and CEO of virtual healthcare platform Dialogue Technologies (“Dialogue”), is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Steve Schlesak as General Manager, Ontario.

Steve joins Dialogue after three years with Uber Canada as a Senior Manager, where he oversaw national marketplace and core experience operations.

“We are thrilled to have Steve join the Dialogue team in this key role. His background and knowledge of the Ontario market will be invaluable as we continue our expansion in the rest of Canada,” said Cherif.

As General Manager, Steve will build Dialogue’s team in Ontario by hiring a high-performance team handling operations, sales, marketing, technology and customer engagement. He will also be accountable for growth in Ontario, including rapidly scaling Dialogue’s team of physicians, nurses and care coordinators.

Dialogue, which launched in 2016, is now Canada’s leading telemedicine company. Dialogue recently announced the close of a Series A funding round of $12-million and large-scale distribution deals with partners such as Great-West Life and SSQ. Canada’s top employers from a wide range of sectors have chosen Dialogue as a benefit for their employers and their families. Steve received his MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, where he co-founded the Marshall Leadership Fellows Program and TEDx Venice Beach. His early career began in life sciences and biotechnology after receiving a BSc from McGill University. Steve sits on the organizing committee for the flagship fundraising event for Covenant House.
