I am thrilled to announce one of the most significant partnerships we’ve had since our foundation in 2016: Dialogue has partnered with Canada Life to offer virtual healthcare services as part of Canada Life’s standard benefits package.

This is the first time a Canadian insurer will make virtual health care a standard benefit, and they are starting with a block representing one million Canadians.

Keeping More Canadians Happy & Healthy

With their 170-year history of improving the physical and mental well-being of Canadians, it’s no surprise that Canada Life (then Great-West Life), was the first national insurer to offer virtual healthcare services through Dialogue. Today, they augment that history.

Starting this summer, all employers who offer healthcare benefits with 400 plan members or less will have Canada Life’s proprietary Dialogue product automatically added to their standard benefits package.

Barriers to quality care will be reduced for hundreds of thousands of employees and their families who will now have access to medical professionals at the push of a button, 24/7, wherever they are across Canada.

In fact, more than 1.3 million Canadians will now have access to Dialogue’s services as a result of this partnership. Not only does this represent a new milestone for employee health benefits in Canada, it’s a true sign of the times in terms of Canadians embracing and benefiting from virtual healthcare.

Same Great Quality of Care

The quality of care provided by Canada Life’s embedded Dialogue offering will meet the same high standards as that currently made available to employers and employees. Our focus on patient safety, privacy, and health outcomes remains the top priority.

This partnership means that, when the new benefit comes into effect this summer, more employees and their eligible dependents will receive around-the-clock access to medical care, including live chats with nurses, video consultations with doctors, prescription renewals and more.

Keeping Canadians happier, healthier, and performing at their best has been an integral part of our vision since Dialogue was just an idea.

Now, in anticipation of servicing even more patients through our platform, we’ve made significant investments in growing our operations and medical teams to ensure we maintain a top-quality patient experience for everyone.

It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in the last few years. And we expect this agreement with Canada Life will represent a new beginning, as more employers and industries look to provide their employees with quicker access to quality medical care.

In the meantime, I’d like to thank everyone at Dialogue and Canada Life who helped make virtual healthcare as a standard benefit a reality for a million Canadians.
